We need your help!
No child should ever have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. Unfortunately, food insecurity is real, and it is happening right here in our community.
The Richmond Education Foundation’s Backpack Program provides food for students and families when school meals aren’t available. More than 80 families in our district rely on this program, and we are in serious need of your help to keep it going.
🍎 OCTOBER COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE 🍎
Throughout the entire month of October, we will be collecting FOOD AND MONETARY DONATIONS to help keep our backpacks filled and support the families who need us most.
🥫 HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Donate food: Purchase nonperishable food items and drop them off at ANY Richmond R-XVI 
school building.
Donate money: Monetary donations can be dropped off at the Central Office and will help us purchase food and supplies for the program.
Every can, box, bag and dollar makes a difference. Whether you give a little or a lot, your generosity can help ease a family’s worry and remind a child that their community cares.
We cannot do this alone. The Richmond Education Foundation is supported by donations, and right now, we need Spartan Nation to step up for our students and families.
