Attention Parents: Due to adverse weather predictions and the potential for roads to deteriorate quickly this afternoon, all Richmond R-XVI Schools will be released early today, January 8, 2024 at 1:00pm. Parents: We had a technical malfunction with our fire alarm system this morning at the High School. A brief evacuation occurred. The fire alarm was reset and everything is back to normal. 

Reminder: Dance is tonight 7-9 pm, Sunrise Elementary, $5 per person. Photographer and limited concessions for sale.

There will be a meeting for parents of seniors who need information on the FAFSA for post-secondary plans and A+ on Thursday December 7th at 6:00pm in the high school library. Students are welcome to attend.

Reminder: Annual Christmas parade is Friday Dec 1. Lineup at 530pm, parade starts at 6pm. Goes down Thornton and around the square.

Reminder: Juniors will be taking the ASVAB on Monday at 8:30 a.m. in the high school gymnasium. We ask that all juniors arrive on time and ready to participate.

Reminder, there is a Class of 2025 Parent Meeting - TONIGHT - Thursday, November 9th at 7pm in the HS Library.

Congratulations to Nikolas McMillan for being selected to participate in the Missouri All-State Children’s Choir! The choir will perform in January at the Lake of the Ozarks.
