Tonight's Boys Basketball game in Oak Grove will feature a B game first, followed by an A game. The Girls game at home will still have the A game first, followed by the B game.
Schedule change: Middle School Wrestling will not be going to Lawson this afternoon. Instead, the team will be going to Knob Noster to compete in a Quad with Holden and Odessa. This will be a 5pm start. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
There is no Class of 2029 booster parent meeting tonight. It has been rescheduled for November 21st 6-8pm in the middle school commons.
Due to today's MRVC Cross Country meet, car rider pickups at the middle school will be in the north end parking lot. The south end parking lot will be reserved for visiting school bus parking. Thank you for your assistance in helping this event run smoothly!

- Tonight is Senior Night. Senior recognitions will begin at 6pm!

RMS Football B Game Cancellation-The RMS Football B Game against Lathrop has been cancelled. However, we will be picking up some quarters for the B team in a game against Carrollton. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
Again, although we do not have any information that corroborates this post, we wanted to make sure you are of the situation and assure you that we take all types of threats seriously in partnership with our police and sheriff's departments.
Several metropolitan school districts were identified in a Snapchat post over the weekend as well. No specific threat towards the Richmond School District has been confirmed, but we feel it is important to have law enforcement officers on site at each of our buildings tomorrow, Wed, Sept 11 and beyond if necessary.
Spartan Families: The Richmond R-XVI School District just received a message from Courage to Report about a Snapchat post that identified Richmond, Lathrop, Lawson, Lexington, Kansas City Public schools and two other Kansas City metro school buildings that were possibly on a list to be targeted for school shootings.
The Middle School Band will not be travelling to Concordia today. The trip has been cancelled.
Dear Parents, We wanted to inform you about a medical event that occurred at Richmond Middle School today. An ambulance was present on-site to assist, but we want to assure you that no students were injured. The situation was handled promptly and safely.
